Join the Inbetween Street Team!

Since the car crash that took her father’s life three years ago, Emma’s life has been a freaky — and unending — lesson in caution. Surviving “accidents” has taken priority over being a normal seventeen-year-old, so Emma spends her days taking pictures of life instead of living it. Falling in love with a boy was never part of the plan. Falling for a reaper who makes her chest ache and her head spin? Not an option.
It’s not easy being dead, especially for a reaper in love with a girl fate has put on his list not once, but twice. Finn’s fellow reapers give him hell about spending time with Emma, but Finn couldn’t let her die before, and he’s not about to let her die now. He will protect the girl he loves from the evil he accidentally unleashed, even if it means sacrificing the only thing he has left…his soul.

But when her curiosity leads her to an unusual gypsy tent, she exits . . . right into Renaissance Firenze
Thrust into the sixteenth century armed with only a backpack full of contraband future items, Cat joins up with her ancestors, the sweet Alessandra and protective Cipriano, and soon falls for the gorgeous aspiring artist Lorenzo. ARC Review: Confessions of an Angry Girl

Author: Louise Rozett
Rose Zarelli, self-proclaimed word geek and angry girl, has some confessions to make
1. I'm livid all the time. Why? My dad died. My mom barely talks. My brother abandoned us. I think I'm allowed to be irate, don't you
2. I make people furious regularly. Want an example? I kissed Jamie Forta, a badass guy who might be dating a cheerleader. She is now enragedand out for blood. Mine.
3. High school might as well be Mars. My best friend has been replaced by an alien, and I see red all the time. (Mars is red and "seeing red" means being angry—get it?) Here are some other vocab words that describe my life: Inadequate. Insufferable. Intolerable.(Don't know what they mean? Look them up yourself.
Review:
I really love the cover. Blue and white look awesome together!

Have you ever been so angry that nothing else matters. That all you wanted was to throw something or punch someone?

Rose Zarelli, is angry. Angry because her father died, angry that her brother would rather spend thanksgiving with his girlfriend than her, angry that her mother is acting more like a therapist than a mom, angry that her best friend Tracy wants to have sex with a guy who is a complete jerk, angry that the guy she likes has a girlfriend who is mean and wants to destroy her life.

Before starting the book I was a little skeptical. I mean, the MC is 14 years old. I wasn't sure that I would be able to connect with her but I loved the book. It's one of the most realistic novel that I have read in a long time.

I liked Rose. I could understand her anger and pain. Losing someone is hard. Moving on with life is not easy especially for a 14 year old girl who just enters the big bad world i.e. High School. Rose has flaws, she takes some bad decisions. All these things made her real and relate-able. I liked Jamie. He is kinda cute with his mysterious ways and I can see that he cares for Rose. It's sweet. Though I would have liked him better if he would have let Rose punch Regina. I really hate Regina. How can anyone be so mean? *hmph* Tracy, um...I didn't like her. She was not a good friend. She was just too selfish and weak. But towards the end, she does realize her mistake and I hope she will be more like-able in the next book.

The writing is really good. I could feel the emotions that Rose was going through. I even shed a few tears with her whenever she talked about her Dad. The author did a great job in getting into the head of a 14 year old.  I wish this book came out when I was 14.

Rose grows so much through the book. I hope she made that website for her father. I really liked the idea. I didn't know that this book was a part of the series. The ending left me wanting more. I need the next book.
