Feature and Follow #6

Gain new followers and make new friends with the Book Blogger Feature & Follow! If this is your first time here, welcome! You are about to make some new friends and gain new followers -- but you have to know -- the point of this hop is to follow other bloggers also. I follow you, you follow me.

What sets this Hop apart from others, is the Feature. Each week they will showcase a Featured Blogger, from all different genres and areas. Just remember it is required, if you participate, to follow the Features and you must follow the hosts (Parajunkee & Alison Can Read) as a courtesy.

Q: Do your reading habits change based on your mood? Do you read a certain genre if you are feeling depressed or happy?

A book can change my mood so if I am upset about something I pick up a sweet story that I have read before (I don't take risks) and re-read it. I generally pick up romance or a light summer read like Along for the ride by Sarah Dessen or Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles or Anna and the french kiss by Stephanie Perkins.

    I'm the same way! If I feel upset or sad I will pick up something that I know will make me feel better! :) New follower!

    I think when I'm feeling blue I also tend to read books I've read before and know that I love. No taking chances!

    I always pick my books and genre based on what I'm in the mood for too. I rarely re-read though. I'm always reading NEW books. Thanks for stopping by my FF! Followed you back via GFC!
