Book Review: Beautiful Disaster

      Author:

The new Abby Abernathy is a good girl. She doesn’t drink or swear, and she has the appropriate percentage of cardigans in her wardrobe. Abby believes she has enough distance between her and the darkness of her past, but when she arrives at college with her best friend America, her path to a new beginning is quickly challenged by Eastern University’s Walking One-Night Stand.
Travis Maddox, lean, cut, and covered in tattoos, is exactly what Abby needs—and wants—to avoid. He spends his nights winning money in a floating fight ring, and his days as the charming college co-ed. Intrigued by Abby’s resistance to his charms, Travis tricks her into his daily life with a simple bet. If he loses, he must remain abstinent for a month. If Abby loses, she must live in Travis’ apartment for the same amount of time. Either way, Travis has no idea that he has met his match.

REVIEW:
Once I started reading the book I just couldn't put it down.
The book is not perfect, not even close but still the book has been written pretty well. The story made me feel all warm and giddy, made me smile and that's all you need sometimes.
When you  read it,  don't over-think, it won't get you anywhere. The book is not meant to be taken seriously(I'm hoping). It's just a light and easy read.
After all romance novels are supposed to be an escape from reality. Right?
Travis is hot, there are problems with his character(Discussed below)that I cannot ignore but there is no denying the fact that he is sexy and I was swooning over him. I can read the book again.

Things I disliked....
Travis Maddox is not the ideal hero not even close.
He has flaws...when he gets angry he drinks, breaks stuff and sleeps with random girls.
In the real world he would probably have a lot of restraining orders issued against him but bad boys seem to make a book more interesting and certainly more hot :P

Everything aside, I loved the book. It was quite entertaining and romantic.
