Sweet Evil Read Along: Week 1

I am so excited to be a part of this Read Along. I love this book and re-reading it is a pleasure.

                                                      

                                 

So this week I am going to talk about road trips. Honestly, I am not a fan of them. I don't like sitting in cars longer than absolutely necessary. For me a perfect road trip would probably be something which is not planned. Meeting new people, seeing interesting places, that's what makes road trips fun. Right?

If I were going on a road trip, my bag would probably have sunglasses, a book, a bag filled with chips, chocolates and some candies. What, I get hungry ok?
I will have a camera with me and I will click anything and everything. I am not very good at photography so most of the pictures don't come out right. :p

I don't drive. I ride shotgun and ask a lot of questions. Like, "where are we?", "Are we there yet?", "Are you sure this is the right way?" I know I can get a little irritating but I have some awesome people in my life who don't get angry by my constant babbling.

Music is essential for a good road trip. I like listening to songs from different genres. Mostly old songs. 

Have you read Amy and Roger's Epic Detour? I absolutely loved the book and ever since I read it I've wanted to go on a trip like theirs. Eat at the places they did. Maybe I will do that someday. It would be awesome!

My Thoughts:

Jay is such a great guy. He is an awesome friend. Anna is lucky to have him in her life. In the beginning I thought that Jay might be a little in love with Anna but now that I know better. I am kind of relieved. It would have been hard to pick between him and Kaidan.  

Patti is amazing. You just have to like her. She loves Anna and I thought it was really cute how Kai was honest with her.  Though my mother would never allow me to go on a road trip with a guy she just met. (Yes, I had to add that)

Kaidan Rowe *sigh* what can I say about him? It's love at first sight. I love how he smiles, how he talks,  just basically everything about him makes me *sigh*

Loving the book so far. I liked the concept of the enhanced senses and it was interesting to learn more about
nephiliam and angels and demons. I can't wait to read more.
